What are the dimensions of the stateroom number on the Disney Wish?

    Hi Maria,

Welcome aboard planDisney, you’ve come to the right place for details that help make your Disney Cruise Line vacation extra magical! I hope you have a special sailing planned aboard the gorgeous Disney Wish, Disney’s newest ship to join the fleet. Like many Guests, I enjoy decorating my stateroom door to give our special home at sea some personality and to help identify our family’s room among so many in the long hallways. I have all the details to help you plan out your own special decorations for a stateroom door on the Disney Wish.

My planDisney panelist friend, Amy C., is currently onboard and I was able to send a message in a bottle to her to capture the exact measurements for you. Please note that the Disney Wish stateroom door design is different than the previous four ships; the stateroom number is not in a porthole design but rather a whimsical, elegant shape resembling a rectangle with some curves and points to it for a regal vibe. There is also a plaque on the wall just next to the stateroom door that also displays the room number and has the iconic hook that many use as a “fish extender” for gift exchanges. Here are the measurements for you:

    • The stateroom number plaque on the door measures 7” x 4 ½ “at its widest points
    • The stateroom number plaque on the wall measures 6” x 4” at its widest points
Magnets, battery-operated lights, and other fun decorations are a special way to enhance your trip but also to bring joy to others who walk by! Please remember the following policies when planning your magical decorations to ensure no damage is done to the gorgeous ship during your stay:

    • Guests are prohibited from affixing items to stateroom doors utilizing tape or any adhesive, including removable gel adhesive. These types of adhesives damage the finish on the stateroom door.
    • Guests are prohibited from affixing any magnetic signs that carry any company name other than Disney.
    • Guests are asked to not use over-the-door hanging organizers as they scratch stateroom doors and trim.
Should any damage be found resulting from misuse of stateroom door decorations or adhesives, you will be assessed a $100 (US Dollars) fee per incident to cover the cost of repairs.

I hope these specific measurements help you to plan your special personal touches for your stateroom door, Maria! Please come back and “sea” us with any additional questions so that we can help you make the most of this magical vacation.

    Bon voyage,
