Hi Edward,
Welcome back to planDisney! It's great to see you again.
Ahh, the magic of Disney; it even means that our little ones have so much excitement during the day that they snooze like Aurora! It's wonderful.
All
Disney Resorts Collection hotels will come equipped with a standard-size Pack'n'Play playard for your little bundle of joy. Since no detail goes unnoticed, my planDisney Pal
Amy shared that they are typically 39.5 x 28.25 x 29 inches. If you need a larger crib, please know that they are available but in limited quantities. You simply need to request one from the friendly Cast Member at the front desk of your Resort hotel. They will do their very best to have one delivered to you.
Probably the primary reason that we prefer to stay in a
Disney Deluxe Resort hotel, like
Disney's Contemporary Resort, is the convenience they offer for families with a stroller. (Or, in our case, during those times, a double stroller!) We loved to walk to the theme parks whenever possible, like that peaceful stroll to Magic Kingdom Park from Disney's Contemporary Resort, or to both EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios from
Disney's Beach Club Resort,
Disney's Yacht Club Resort, or
Disney's BoardWalk Inn. Of course, other options that didn't require us to wake a sleeping baby in a stroller to board, like Disney's Monorail or the
Disney Skyliner, are also wonderful ways to travel, particularly in that phase of life. Though we are now raising teens, your question about a crib at Disney's Contemporary Resort just brought me back! Thank you for that.
I hope that you also experience the tranquility of walking "home" after a thrilling day in the perfect Florida weather with the folks you love the most and a sleeping little one in the stroller on your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation. There is nothing else like it!
Please come back with any other questions, Edward. planDisney is here to help you!
Adventure is out there,
Sally
