    Is the digital photo package worth it? $149 seems like a lot for pictures from a 4 day cruise. Thank you!

    This is definitely a tough decision to make, but you are smart to be thinking about it before you set sail so you can take full advantage of all the photo opportunities if you decide to purchase the package. Believe it or not, photo opportunities actually begin before you even hear the words, "Welcome Aboard." Depending on when you arrive at the cruise terminal, you may have an opportunity to have a character photo while waiting to board. After your boarding number is called, there will be photographers waiting to take your embarkation photo. Once on the ship, you can check your Personal Navigator (the daily cruise newsletter) for character meet and greets. These will be listed in the "Characters" row, and most of the character experiences will have a photographer present to take a photo for your package. Photographers will be wandering from table to table at dinner in each of the main dining rooms for individual and group shots. Pirate night photos are always some of my favorites because the characters will be dressed from head to toe in their special pirate attire. When the ship stops on Disney's private island, Castaway Cay, the ship's photographers will be capturing photos of your crew with the characters in their colorful beach attire. You will also find them on the beach and wading through the water to get some splashtacular shots! Other chances to catch a photographer are at the ticketed Princess Gathering and the Anna & Elsa or Frozen Meet and Greet events (free tickets can be picked up at Guest Service after you board). Professional portraits on the Grand Staircase or with various backgrounds will also be available so check your newsletter for specific locations and times. 
    I hope I've given you a good idea of how to take full advantage of a photo package if purchased, Kasey. If you do not think you'll be taking many photos, you can just purchase a few of your favorites at Shutters!
