Hi.  Is there a different key card for resorts and parks?

The answer to this is, "It depends." Your room key is called the Key to World Card. It can function as only a room key, or you can load it up with other options.

On my most recent trip to WDW, I arranged for my room and my park tickets separately. I ended up having two cards to carry around: the Key to World Card and my park admission ticket.

On other trips, I have either arranged for my room and tickets simultaneously or purchased my tickets at my hotel when I checked into my room. In these cases, I have had my park admission tickets loaded onto my Key to the World card. This meant that my room key and my park ticket were the same card.

If you have purchased the Disney Dining Plan, your Key to the World card will also be loaded with your meal vouchers.

And in any of these cases, you can add food and merchandise purchasing capabilities to your Key to the World Card, if you leave a credit card on file with the hotel.

Hope you have a great trip!
