What are the differences between Ohana and the luau (or are they one and the same)? If they are indeed different, which one would you recommend for a 13 and a 3 year old? Excuse my Disney ignorance! :) Thanks for providing me with hours of reading!

It's so great to hear you've been enjoying the site Desiree! Both the Spirit of Aloha Show and Ohana are at the Polynesian resort. The Spirit of Aloha is a dinner show with two nightly seatings. You'll sit outside in a covered area and be entertained throughout your meal, including the amazing fire knife dancers.

Ohana is an indoor restaurant, with lots of fun entertainment, including hula lessons and coconut races throughout the restaurant. Both are all you care to eat, family-style dining, where large portions are brought to your table for all to share.

We loved Ohana, and would definitely go there again, especially for the decadent bread pudding dessert.

Have a great time whichever you choose. Have a magical vacation!
