Hi Alice,
I see that you're planning a visit to The Happiest Place on Earth for next spring! I hope you're having fun dreaming about all the magic and fun you'll enjoy! By planning ahead, not only will you be even more prepared and practically burst with excitement when you enter through those magical gates, but you'll also be able to enjoy the anticipation for all these months. To me, that just spreads out the wonder and fun of the visit!
I'm happy to share that there's no difference between theme park tickets and park tickets. Anytime you hear either one mentioned, it's simply just referencing the tickets you'll need to access the theme parks. When you go to
purchase your tickets, you'll also need to make
theme park reservations, which should happen automagically if you purchase directly from Disney. With theme park tickets purchased and reservations made, your place in the parks will be secure, and you can get back to dreaming your Disney dreams, looking forward to your Disneyland Resort adventure!
As you're planning your trip, I'd encourage you to check out some of the
helpful videos put together by my fellow planDisney panelists. They'll give you a great overview of what to expect during your vacation, and as you learn more and want to research, you'll find all sorts of helpful information on
Disney's website. Whether you're looking for
Resort hotels,
dining,
attractions,
entertainment, or more, it's a wealth of information! Of course, you're always welcome back here again at planDisney if you have more questions or would like some advice about any aspect of your trip!
Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney, Alice! I hope you have a truly magical vacation next spring!
Missy
