What is the difference between a standard room and a preferred room at All Star Movie Resort?

    Hi Linda,

The only difference between a standard room and a preferred room at the All Star Movie resort is location.

The preferred rooms are a bit closer to the main pool and the main building which houses the shops, food court, and transportation area. The amenities inside both the rooms are exactly the same.

In my opinion, if you're with a group of able adults, there is absolutely no reason to pay extra for the preferred room. The difference might be less than five minutes a day of walking. If you have several small kids or are dealing with a wheelchair or ECV, then a preferred room might help a bit, but otherwise you can easily skip it and save the extra expense.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
