what is the difference between memory maker and photo pass

    Hi Wrenn!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Mom Panel!

Walt Disney World's new Memory Maker photo package has a lot of similarities to the PhotoPass but it also has many exciting new features.

The similarities between PhotoPass and Memory Maker include:

    • Everyone gets to be in the pictures. In my family, I am the photographer which means I am not in many of our vacation pictures. These packages have put me back in the picture with my family.
    • There are hundreds of great locations all around Walt Disney World where professional photographers can capture your photos.
    • Attraction photos are included. Whether you are going 0 to 60 on Rock 'N' Rollercoaster or barreling through the cosmos on Space Mountain, these picture are all part of the package price.
    • You can customize your pictures with fabulous borders and stickers.

The differences between the two packages are:

    • Memory Maker is linked to your My Disney Experience account.
    • Memory Maker is 100% digital. No more waiting for your photo CD to arrive.
    • Once you have downloaded the photos to your computer, you have the rights all the pictures. You can print and share them as much as you like.
    • If all the members are your traveling party are linked in your My Disney Experience account, you, as the Memory Maker 'owner', will be able to view, customize and download all their pictures as well.
    • For all the photos to be linked to your My Disney Experience account, you must purchase this package at least three days prior to your arrival.
    • If you pre-order your Memory Maker package there is a $50 savings.

I hope this information helps. If you have any more questions please come back and see us at the Mom Panel.

    Have a pixie-dusted day!
