    What is the difference between the 3 listed Animal Kingdom resorts? Does AKL have designated buses like AOA?

    Hi Jennifer,

    Disney's Animal Kindgom Resort is a wonderful place to stay on a Walt Disney World Vacation! It is one of my favorite resorts to visit as you feel like you are away from the hustle of the Disney parks. Plus when it is decorated for Christmas, it is truly beautiful.

    Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is the a traditional hotel where guests can stay. This is the main part of the resort and has traditional guest rooms. Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Jambo House and Kidani Village are part of the Disney Vacation Club. These rooms are available to traditional Disney guests only if members of the Disney Vacation Club are not staying in them. These rooms offer additional amenities including full kitchens, additional bathrooms and washer/dryer units if staying in a villa.

    All properties at Disney's Animal Kingdom Resort area can take advantage of the pools and great restaurants. Buses provide transportation to all of the Walt Disney World Resorts theme and water parks as well as Downtown Disney.
