    What is the difference between Extra Magic Hour and Magic Morning Hour? They look the same to me. Getting excited to visit in August!!

    Thank you for visiting us again here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I hope you are having a magical day.

    I'm so excited you have an August trip to The Happiest Place on Earth - this is where dreams come true. Extra Magic Hour and Magic Morning are two different options for Guests to enjoy early admission into a Disneyland Resort theme park for one full hour before the park opens to the general public. Magic Morning is available with a valid 3+ day ticket and may only be used once, this also applies if you purchase a 2014 Southern California CityPASS. Magic Morning is only available at Disneyland Park on Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday.

    Extra Magic Hour is exclusive to registered Guests staying at one of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels. Guests may utilize this early entry during each day of their stay by showing their valid hotel room key and theme park ticket upon entry. Extra Magic Hours are as follows:

    Disneyland Park: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
    Disney California Adventure Park: Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday

    The operation of attractions and appearances of characters are subject to change without notice. It's recommended that you arrive at least an hour and 15 prior to the regular park opening for Magic Morning.
