What difference is the Epcot and Tomorrow Land desert parties?

    Hey Janice!

I have been lucky enough to attend both the Illuminations Sparkling Dessert Party as well as the Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party. Here are the differences between the two parties:
    • The desserts offered at the Illuminations party are more 'worldly' then those at the Tomorrowland party. For example, at the Illuminations party you might find international desserts such as tiramisu, baklava and churros. While at the Tomorrowland party you will find familiar desserts such as chocolate covered strawberries, brownies, cookies, ice cream and an assortment of torte and puddings. If you are attending with little ones who have finicky palates, you should take this into consideration.
    • The location for the Tomorrowland dessert party is slightly to the right of Cinderella Castle. While this may be a negative for some, it doesn't bother my family at all. The location for the Illuminations party is between the Tower gift shops. This up-front-and-center view is so close you can actually feel the heat of the flame throwers.
    • Another difference is the price, currently (3/6/15) the Tomorrowland party is $25/pp while the Illuminations party is $49/adult and $29/child.
    • A difference that some might see as an advantage is that wine is served at the Illuminations party while only non-alcoholic beverages are served in the Tomorrowland party.

I hope this helps with your planning. Please come back and see me if you have any other questions.

Wishing you a *MAGICAL* vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
