What is the difference between DVC and Annual Pass? What do you feel like you would get the most out of?

    Hiya Breana,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! This is a great question about two incredible options for adding some extra magic to your Walt Disney World vacations. While both Disney Vacation Club Members and Annual Pass Holders receive some incredible benefits such as discounts on dining, merchandise, recreation and tours, they are fundamentally very different. Let me provide you with more information so that you can decide which option best suits your vacation needs.

The Walt Disney World Annual Passholder options, such as the Disney Platinum Plus Pass and the Disney Platinum Pass, offer you admission for one year to all four theme parks, allowing you to visit more than one park per day, with no blockout dates. The Disney Platinum Plus Pass includes admission to the four theme parks for one year, as well as the two Disney water parks, ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, and Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course. Both options receive Disney PhotoPass downloads and complimentary standard theme park parking. Annual Passholders may also receive special offers for stays at Disney Resort hotels.

To become a Disney Vacation Club Member you must purchase a real estate interest in a Disney Vacation Club Resort that is represented by vacation points. You can then use those vacation points each year to stay at that resort, at other Disney Vacation Club Resorts, or in many other exciting locations around the world. I have enjoyed my Disney Vacation Club Membership since 2012 and it has truly changed the way my family vacations. My family has used our vacation points to book stays in Disney Vacation Club Resorts, enjoying the larger accommodations, many with full kitchens and a washer and dryer right there in the villa, to book Disney Cruise Line cruises, and we have even used our vacation points to book a stay in a Disneyland Paris Resort. Another great thing about becoming a Disney Vacation Club Member is that you can purchase an Annual Pass at a discounted rate! You can explore more information about becoming a Disney Vacation Club Member on the Disney Vacation Club website

I hope that this information will help you to decide which option is best for you and your family! Please stop back by any time we can help answer any more of your vacation questions.
