What is the difference between the Disney Gift Cards and the Disney Dollars? TIA!

Hi Rebecca, Disney gift cards look like credit cards (but with fun Disney designs). They can be purchased in virtually any amount and are reloadable. You can check your card balance online. They can be used at Disney stores as well as at Disney parks locations. Disney dollars look like cash (but with fun Disney designs). They come in denominations just like regular money. They can only be used in the parks. While Disney dollars are pretty, I personally find them to be a bit unwieldy. If you use them a lot, then you have more paper to carry and things to lose. Also, if you end up with extra, there's not much you can do with the remaining money. My choice would be the gift card for the ease of use factor. Good luck with your planning.
