Hi there, Shazia, and welcome back to planDisney!
Let me be the first to also welcome you to the Annual Passholder family. The perks with an
annual pass are plentiful. I love that my family gets discounts on select food and merchandise around property and that we get free standard parking at the theme parks. The special offers and fun surprises (those seasonal magnets are so cute!) make it a no-brainer about where we want to spend our free time.
I have good news for you, Shazia: Your annual pass will expire one year after you’ve purchased it. However, once you activate your annual pass, the annual pass’s expiration date is one year after that date. So, if you buy your pass today, it will expire in one year from now in October. However, if your first visit is in April 2025, it would expire one year from that date. If you still have any specific questions about your situation and upcoming purchase, speak to a Cast Member via the
V.I.PASSHOLDER Support Hotline.
AN EXTRA GEM: While you await your first visit to the theme parks, you can tap into the annual pass benefit of getting discounts on select nights at
Disney Resorts Collection hotels now. As long as your annual pass has been activated by the time of check-in, you can purchase an annual pass and apply that discount before you’ve stepped into a theme park.
Shazia, I hope that this helps. Please revisit us here at planDisney if you have additional questions about your upcoming trips and ways to maximize your annual pass.
I’m all ears! Magic always,
LeAndra
