Didnt get dining plan, arrives lateday Sun & leaves early on Fri. I wouldve been paying for 2 days of meals we wouldnt be there for since you get meals for # of nites you book correct? Was that a good choice? + Booked Garden Grill, good choice for my te

    Cindy,

You are correct, in that you get the number of meals (be they quick service, snacks, or table service) for the number of nights that you are staying in the resort.

By my math, that means you would have gotten 5 table service, 5 counter service, and 5 snack credits for your trip. That is assuming that you are going with the standard dining plan.

You can use those credits ANY DAY you want, from the moment that you checked in on Sunday until midnight on the Friday that you left. You can use them in any order, or on any day you choose. So you would not have necessarily had to lose two days worth of food.

But if you are not sure if you would have used all the credits before you left then you made a good decision. The plan only saves you money if you use all your credits, and if you are a family that would eat all those meals. For my family, as much as we love the dining plans, we can't make them save us money. That is because we have two little girls that just don't eat much. When they are teens we expect this will be a different story.

So you are probably good! Write me back if you have any follow-up questions!

    Have a magical vacation!
