    Hi Diane, Saw you answered a question recently regarding "Wishes" dessert party. Can you tell me if it will be going on Aug. 15th? How early can I book it? Is this something that you really recommend? Thanks for your insight!

    I hope you don't mind that I answer your question!

    The dates for the Wishes! Dessert Party have only currently been released through May 31, 2010. I expect additional dates may be added for the summer at a later time.

    In general, when the dates have been announced, they have been within the 180-day advanced dining reservation so they have been available for immediate booking. Your best bet will be to check frequently with Disney Dining at (407) WDW-DINE to find out when additional dates are released.

    The dessert party is located on the Tomorrowland Terrace and does offer a great view of the fireworks. The atmosphere is wonderful and its a great alternative (and often less crowded) viewing spot. And the dessert offerings are plentiful and delicious!

    While I love this location to view the fireworks, I will point out that since it is off to the side of Cinderella's Castle, the fireworks will not frame the castle in the same manner as if you were standing right on Main St. The absolute best view of Wishes is from Main Street as the fireworks were designed to surround the castle from this vantage point.
