I have diabetic problems. I carry snack crackers in case my blood sugar drops or I start to feel weak. Can I do this? Standing in a line queue and having this happen will be a problem if I don't have the crackers on me.

    Hi Beth,

One of the best things about a vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort is the ability to bring food into the parks as well as having dietary needs met at the restaurants. My daughter has a shellfish allergy and she has had amazing experiences with the chefs who cater to her needs.

You can absolutely bring food and drinks into the parks. Eating and drinking on line is generally not an issue.

When you make your advance dining reservations, you can indicate you are diabetic. The chef will come out and discuss options as well as meal substitutions.

For quick service restaurants, simply inform the cast member at the register you have special dietary needs and they will send a cast member to assist you.

In addition, if you need a place to cool off and take a break, the Baby Care Centers are a great option.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
    Beth
