I would like more details about the Pirate Deck Party on the Disney Dream. Is it really crowded? So crowded that toddlers will not enjoy it? Is it late at night? We are wondering what we should plan for in regard to this party. Thanks so much.

Welcome aboard, Brent! Mickey's Pirates IN The Caribbean Deck Party is a favorite for our family. The kids never want to miss this swashbuckling event nor all the fun that leads up to it.

I'll be honest and tell you that yes, it does get crowded up on the pool deck during this party. But, that shouldn't stop you for heading up there to have fun! We've always found that if we arrive a bit early, we're able to find a great spot for our kids. The main party on the Dream followed by the Buccaneer Blast Fireworks at sea won't begin until around 10:30 so if your little guy is still raring to go at that point, be sure to stick around for the party! But, if that sounds way too late, don't worry. Your family won't miss out on all the fun, as there are pirate festivities going on all day! At dinner, your servers will be dressed as pirates and will present your family with your own pirate bandanas. Feel free to bring your own pirate gear, costumes or accessories from home too, as you'll see many families in full pirate attire for this fun night!

Around 7:45 p.m. head up to Deck 11 where Mickey Mouse and his pirate crew will have games and a show that your little ones will love. My kids look forward to Pirate Night each time we cruise, and I just know your kids will enjoy every moment, whether you make it for the fireworks and late pirate party or now, Brent! Be sure to check your Personal Navigator that day for exact times and events.

I hope that helps as you continue planning your cruise! Let me know if I can help with anything else before you set sail!
