    what are the details of the jedi training. do the kids need to be there for the sign up? are the spots quickly taken?

    Hi Charles,

    Good day from the Show Me state.  I'm always happy when I can answer questions from my fellow Missourians.  Right now, your little Padawans will need to damp down their power cores as Jedi Training Academy is currently in Morr Three for refurbishment.  The reopening date is currently set for December 1, 2015, but may be subject to change. In the past, an adult and a child needed to be present for sign-up. Your best chance to secure a slot is to arrive at Disney's Hollywood Studios right at park opening. Stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for more information as we get closer to the reopening date.
