Where can I get detailed information on the pirate cruises for children? I am interested in what the kids will be doing? how long they would be gone? is there food involved? Any help you can give is greatly appreciated. You are all soo helpful! Thanks

Thanks for your great question Jolene! Disney's Pirate Adventure cruises are a great kids only event, for pirates 4-12 years old. The pirate ships sail from the Grand Floridian, Port Orleans Riverside, Caribbean Beach Resort and the Yacht and Beach Club resorts and last for two hours.

Pirates are given Mickey pirate bandanas, and set sail to an island in search of a buried treasure. On the way, they listen to the pirate story. sing songs and learn to be a pirate. Once the treasure is found, they enjoy a light lunch and split up the booty! The cost is $30 plus tax per child, although price is subject to change without notice. You can book your adventure in advance by calling (407) WDW-DINE (934-3463).
