Welcome aboard, Delinda! It sounds like you have a magical sailing coming up soon on the beautiful Disney Fantasy. Well, one thing with which you will be happily surprised is the amazing
dining onboard the Fantasy! My family and I look forward to the chef's fabulous new creations each time we sail. And yes, dessert is a big part of that!
You'll be happy to know that there are low sugar and sugar-free options on the menu at dinner, and you can also ask about those types of dessert at lunch too. I highly recommend that you contact the agents at Disney Cruise Line to add a note to your reservation regarding being diabetic. They like to have any
medical and allergy information before guests sail so that they are prepared.
Another fantastic perk to sailing and dining with Disney is that the same serving team that meets you in your restaurant on the first night will be the same team that serves your dinner each night no matter which restaurant you're in on your
dining rotation. We love having the same serving team with us each night as they get to know us and our preferences and always anticipate any needs we have. My kids simply love getting to know our servers and enjoy the games and jokes they do with them! You will certainly benefit from not having to re-explain your low- and no-sugar needs each evening, as your team will be able to chat with you night one to determine what your needs are and offer suggestions throughout the cruise.
Disney is truly wonderful with all guests and you'll find such personalized service when you set sail, too, Delinda! Happy planning!
