Are the dessert parties worth it for the fireworks?

    Hi, Angela!
Thanks for reaching out to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I've had a chance to enjoy some different dessert parties at Walt Disney World Resort

It's hard to say if a party is "worth it" without knowing what you want to get out of the experience. I have enjoyed the Wishes Fireworks Dessert Party multiple times because my family gets to enjoy assigned seats and then we don't have to fight to enjoy the view of the fireworks by the railing along Tomorrowland Terrace. I enjoyed a very different view of the fireworks on the Ferrytale Wishes Fireworks Dessert Cruise. I didn't have a place to sit during that event, but there were some benches people used on the ferryboat. The view and the experience was fun. The Illuminations Sparkling Dessert Party doesn't have seating, but the food was yummy and I enjoyed the angle of the Illuminations show. There are other parties I haven't experienced yet. Some events have seating, some don't. Some include alcoholic beverages while others don't. I love trying new experiences at Walt Disney World Resort. But because I have a chance to visit the park more than once a year, I tend to try new parties by myself or with one other person before I pay for the experience with a large group.

I am sorry I can't give you the perfect answer! If you're looking to create an extra special experience, a dessert party is one of my go-to options. Let me know if I can help answer any additional questions!
