Oh, Shannon! You are a woman after my own heart. Dessert is easily the best part of any meal, and you will find no shortage of delicious options at Walt Disney World Resort.
To give you a true taste of Walt Disney World Resort, I consulted with a few of my fellow Disney Parks Moms Panelist friends on where to find the very best treats.
If ice cream is your thing, fellow Panelist, Allyn wholeheartedly believes that the Peter Pan Float at
Storybook Treats is the best dessert in the Magic Kingdom, while Panelist Betsy craves a Brownie Sundae from
Auntie Gravity's Galactic Goodies.
For panelist Angie, her treat of choice is a toss-up between Quick Sand!!! At
Jungle Navigation Co. Skipper Canteen and the Coppa di Brutti Ma Buoni from
Via Napoli in EPCOT.
Like most Georgians, my family loves a good bread pudding and for us, nothing beats the
‘Ohana Bread Pudding à la mode at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. The warm caramel sauce over the frozen ice cream really sends this delicacy over the edge.
For a treat on the go, my husband swears by the Mickey Mouse shaped Crisped Rice Treats and I always stock up on Caramel apples from the
Main Street Confectionery. A little insider tip: if you ask the wonderful candy makers at the Confectionary, they can slice your apple for you, making it much easier to eat! If you happen to be in Animal Kingdom, my son loves nothing more than the Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse at
Satu'li Canteen.
One thing everyone can agree on? The next dessert that we all will be indulging in is a Kitchen Sink Sundae from
Beaches & Cream Soda Shop. Fair warning, the Kitchen Sink is massive, so bring your appetite and a couple of friends.
I know you will have a super SWEET time on your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, Shannon. Please come back here to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if we can help answer any other questions!
We love to hEAR from you!
