Is there any description of the Dining Plan in german language available. I find it difficult to get information from the english version. Gratitudes are not included - means I have to pay extra for Quik meals or only in restaurants.

I've been searching everywhere and have been unable to find an online description of the Disney Dining Plan in German. Perhaps you might have luck with a travel guide published in German or by speaking with a local travel agent who is familiar with Disney practices.

To answer your specific question - In the United States, customers must pay a gratuity (also called a tip) at restaurants where they are served by a waiter or waitress. This is the type of restaurant where you are guided to a specific seat, the waiter takes your order, brings your food, and so on. At Disney, this includes buffet-style restaurants. A typical gratuity in the US is approximately 15% to 20% of the pre-tax cost of the meal. At Disney, groups of six or more people are automatically assessed an 18% gratuity. If you are on the Dining Plan, you will not be paying for your meal, only for the gratuity. Base the gratuity on what the pre-tax cost of the meal would have been if you were paying cash. All of these numbers will be on the bill you get at the end of the meal.

You do not need to pay a gratuity on non-waiter meals. Disney calls these counter service or quick service meals. These are the types of restaurants where you walk up to a counter or window, are handed your food on a tray, and then take the tray away yourself to find your own table at a nearby seating area.

So again, to clarify, quick service meals do NOT require a gratuity, table service restaurants DO require a gratuity.

Good luck and have a wonderful Walt Disney World vacation.
