Can you describe the type of high chair used at most Disney restaurants? I have a 15 month old who is very good at climbing out of the typical wooden "restaurant" style high chair. We may limit our table service dining choices if we can't conta

I do have to tell you that the vast majority of high chairs at the WDW table service restaurants are the standard wooden variety.  If you go on amazon.com and search for "thunder group walnut wooden high chair" you'll see a photo of a similar high chair.

My children are past the high chair stage now, so I'm a bit out of the loop with regard to recent developments in this area. However, in poking around amazon, i was able to find several products that looked like they might help you modify either a wooden high chair or a standard adult chair to make them less easily escapable. The product names on amazon that looked interesting are:

    - My Little Seat Infant Travel High Chair
    - Sit 'n Secure
    - Jackaboo Babysit Safety Harness
    - Jolly Jumper Safety Strap

I'd be so sad to have you miss out on the wonderful table service dining at WDW. Perhaps one of these high chair enhancements will help you manage to enjoy a few meals without your little one climbing away.
