Hey there Maybelline,
Welcome to planDisney! Sounds like you may need to cancel (or hopefully just postpone) your Walt Disney World reservation that's coming up soon. I just recently researched the
2025 Disney World cancel and refund policy, so let me share what I found (prices subject to change).
As you likely know, when you make a reservation for a Disney vacation package you are required to make a $200 deposit. That deposit is fully refundable up until 30 days prior to your check-in date. You can do this right inside the My Disney Experience app, or by
calling a helpful Cast Member.
If you have to cancel within 2 to 29 days prior to your arrival, you basically lose that $200 deposit. You will be refunded any amounts paid, minus a cancellation fee of $200.00 per package (also minus any cancellation fees assessed by third party hotels or other suppliers or non-refundable travel protection plan costs). For cancellations made 1 day or less prior to guest arrival or for no-shows, the full price of the package is non-refundable.
I hope this helps, Maybelline and that you're able to cancel your reservation in time for a full refund. Please
visit me again with any Disney World planning questions you may have, and I hope your plans to visit the magic will be back on track soon. We'll be here waiting for you whenever you're ready!
Pixie dust to you,
Tami
