Does the $200 deposit go towards the vacation package price or is it in addition to?

    Hello Brittany!

Welcome to planDisney. I'm so glad you've brought us a question today and I'm happy to assist. Let's dive into all the details!

When you book a Vacation Package for Walt Disney World Resort, your deposit (currently $200) is deducted from the total balance of your room and ticket package cost. Let's say you decide on resort accommodations and theme park tickets that total $2000. You'd pay a deposit to secure the package, with the remaining $1800 balance due 30 days before check-in. You can make payments toward your balance online as often as you like or make one lump payment on the due date. It's a great way to budget for your magical vacation!

Aside from payment options, many additional benefits also come with booking a Vacation Package. As an on-site guest, you'll enjoy Early Entry into the parks each ticketed day, have the ability to book advance dining reservations for your length of stay (up to 10 days) 60 days in advance of your arrival, and even enjoy Extended Evening Theme Park Hours on select days if you choose a Disney Deluxe Resort or Disney Deluxe Villa Resort for your accommodations. These are all fabulous perks, but my favorite part of staying on-site is the immersive resort atmosphere and complimentary transportation to the theme parks each day.

I could go on and on about the benefits of booking a Vacation Package, but I'll spare you the lengthy love song. If you need recommendations for where to stay, where to dine or even park day itineraries please come back and let me know. I'll be happy to offer all my best tips to help you maximize the magic on your vacation!

    Magic and memories,
    Amy
