Hi, Tony!
Welcome to
planDisney, and thanks for stopping by to ask us a question about the
Disneyland Resort. I’m glad to hear you’re interested in visiting the Happiest Place on Earth!
It sounds like you're referring to the offer currently available to eligible military service members for a
special room rate at the
Disneyland Resort Hotels. This offer is for active and retired U.S. military personnel (or their spouses) with valid ID, including the National Guard, Reservists, the U.S. Coast Guard, the U.S. Space Force, the Commissioned Corps of the Public Health Service (PHS), and the Commissioned Corps of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). If your Common Access Card has “Civilian” or “Contractor” noted in the affiliation field, you’re unfortunately not eligible for the military hotel or theme park ticket offers at the resort.
If your status doesn’t meet the qualifications for these two offers but you have access to enter military bases, most on-base ticket offices do offer slightly discounted
theme park tickets that you may be able to purchase, so be sure to look into that before your visit. Also, I recommend that you keep an eye on the
Offers & Discounts page at
disneyland.com for the latest information on resort promotions that can help make your magical visit more affordable!
I hope this answers your question, Tony, and that you’re able to plan a pixie-dusted vacation soon. Please feel free to
write back with any other questions you may have.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
