    I want to deny receiving new magic bands. Where do I click for that?

    Hey, Gwenna! Thank you so much for stopping by today with your MagicBand question. After a few trips to Walt Disney World Resort, you may find that your MagicBand collection is complete. You are welcome to decline the complimentary MagicBands offered to you and your family if you would like to instead reuse ones from previous trips that are still active in your account. Note that the battery within the MagicBands tends to last around two years. If it has been longer than that since you have visited Walt Disney World Resort, then you may want to go ahead and customize the new ones offered to you online.

    Declining MagicBand orders can be done during the Online Check-In process in your My Disney Experience account. Simply go to My Plans and click the button within your Disney Resort Hotel reservation information that leads to Online Check-In. Right at the top of that page will be the checkbox to decline them. Just be sure to bring your older bands with you! If by chance they do not work or you forget to bring them, stop by the Front Desk to receive new ones. In my experience, they do keep a variety of colors behind the desk but they will not be able to customize them for each member of your party at that point.
