Hello Ashley!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thank you so much for stopping by to ask a question about choosing a Walt Disney World Resort hotel for your magical vacation. If your kids are anything like mine, the hotel is one of the highlights of the whole trip. I think all three of my children would tell you a different favorite Resort hotel but they all agree that the pool and theme of the Resort play a huge role in which Resort they choose. I am happy to share our favorites with you, in hopes that you find a Resort that is practically perfect for your family.
My 14 year old girl, is in love with being pampered and having the perfect spots at a Resort for taking amazing Instagram photos so she loves staying at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. This Resort is home to some fabulous restaurants and the rooms are absolutely beautiful. Not to mention Magic Kingdom is just one monorail stop away. The two pools allow your children to play until their hearts content while you enjoy a cool drink from one of the pool bars. You can even escape to the
Senses Spa at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and indulge in a relaxing facial or massage. This Resort screams relaxation, while still allowing for your children to experience the magic of Disney.
My 10 year old son is a huge fan of pools and water fun so his favorite Disney Deluxe Resort is
Disney's Beach Club Resort. Stormalong Bay is the Resorts 3 acre water playground which features a lazy river, 3 whirlpool spas, a massive water slide that is part of a life-size ship wreck, and two kiddie pools. It really is second to none. This Resort is also connected to the
Disney Skyliner system which is an attraction in itself. My children actually rode the Disney Skyliner for hours just for fun the last time we visited. This Resort is also in walking distance to the International Gateway entrance of Epcot which makes for no waiting in lines for buses.
The youngest of our bunch, our 9 year old son adores animals so his favorite Resort is
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. Savannah-view rooms offer views of over 30 species of African wildlife and each room includes a field guide to help Guests identify the animals. My son could sit for hours on the balcony watching the amazing creatures. This Resort also has a great pool area and is home to award winning dining. Staying at this Resort is like being on your own personal safari. We all love it and feel like we are not in Florida anymore when we stay here.
I hope this has given you some insight on where to stay during your trip. If you have any other questions about traveling to The Most Magical Place on Earth, please send them our way. We love lending a helping hand every chance we get.
Dream as Dreamers Do,
Jen
