I have deluxe dining plan for my upcoming trip in April. At the Liberty tree tavern, can I order the a la carte items on the meal plan or do I have to get the platter.

Hello, David! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for bringing this delicious question to us! Liberty Tree Tavern is a great choice for any meal of the day, but what you are able to order does depend on whether you are dining there at lunch or dinner. Citizens who stop by in the evening are treated to a hearting helping of comfort food, reminiscent of Thanksgiving meal favorites. The All-You-Care-To-Enjoy Bill of Fare is served family-style and includes turkey, pork roast, pot roast and many trimmings. It is like sitting down at grandma's table and giving thanks to our founding fathers! At this time, this menu item serves as the exclusive choice for dinner guests.

David, if you are dining at Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch, then you can use your Deluxe Dining Plan to order the Bill of Fare mentioned above, or you may choose any of the a la carte items. If choosing off the a la carte menu, you will be able to stake your claim to an appetizer, an entrée, your choice of dessert, and a non-alcoholic beverage, or alcoholic beverage for guests 21 and older. No matter your choice, do save room for the Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake!

I hope this helps you plan a fully patriotic day in Magic Kingdom Park, David! Be sure to check the Times Guide for showings of The Muppets Present ... Great Moments in American History. It is the perfect compliment to your meal in Liberty Square!
