On the deluxe dining plan can you substitute a side if you don't want a desert? Or an extra appetizer for a desert?

    Hello Nicholas!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I am thrilled you stopped by to ask a question about my favorite Disney topic:  FOOD!!   My mouth is watering thinking about all the different options that are available to Guests.  I hope you get to enjoy many of these options on your vacation.

One of my favorite things about the Disney Dining Plans is that they allow for flexibility.  As a rule I have learned that you never know until you ask.   I was at Walt Disney World this past week and a Guest at a table next to us did not want dessert and she notified the server at the beginning of the meal and she was able to get a cup of soup instead.  I can't guarantee this will be the case at every restaurant but it never hurts to ask.  If a substitution is available, most dining establishments are happy to help out.

I hope this has helped.  Please visit us again with any additional questions you may have about traveling to The Most Magical Place on Earth.
