We have the Deluxe Dining plan for one room and planning to use some credits for grandmas that are staying without Dining plan. Wondering if I can pay out of pocket for my 6 year old at buffet meals or if we all have to pay the same way at buffets.

    Hello Deborah!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I am so happy you are going to be visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth.   I hope you and your family have the best vacation ever.

A great thing about the Disney Dining Plans is that they allow for flexibility.   You can use your Disney Dining Plan credits however you choose during your vacation,  including to pay for a meal for a person who is not on the Dining Plan.   You will certainly be able to advise the Cast Member who serves you that you will be paying out of pocket for your six year old, but using Disney Dining Plan credits for the other meals.   It won't be a problem at all.  I do advise that you let the server know as soon as you sit down so she can prepare the bills accordingly.

I hope this has answered your question.   Please pop in again anytime.  It's always so much fun to help out a fellow Disney loving family.
