Is the $5 delivery charge for amazon per box or per order? I would like to put an order in but if it comes in 4 boxes (like it usually does at home ). I don’t want to pay a $20 fee.

Hi, Lisa! This is a really great question, so I am glad you stopped by today! There have recently been changes to fees for provided services at the Resort, so we definitely understand your question and are glad to share some information we have found!

The fee that is assessed for items that you have shipped to yourself at your Walt Disney World Resort was recently increased to $6 and is per package, whether you stop by the Front Desk to pick up the package or opt to have it delivered to your room. The fee will be added to your guest portfolio. Quick tip for you - when I have shopped Amazon, I have frequently seen an option to have all of my items delivered together instead of separate boxes. You may want to check for that option to help you save on your delivery! Be sure that you have your package addressed to the mailing address of your Disney Resort Hotel and that it clearly features the word “Guest” on the front and the date of your arrival.

If you need groceries, bottles of water, or some basic toiletries during your stay, I highly recommend using Instacart or Amazon Prime Now. I appreciate that the shoppers I have had were able to text me if an item was out of stock and I could chat with them about other available items. While there will be a $6 fee to have Bell Services accept your grocery delivery (whole delivery, not per bag) from such services and/or deliver it to your room, you do have the option of meeting your shopper in the lobby of your resort to accept the items. There will not be any fee assessed by with the resort for this, but you will need to get all of those items up to your room yourself!

I hope this helps you plan for your upcoming stay! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
