Is there a way to delete old Magic Bands from My Disney Experience? I threw old ones away not realizing they're reusable. I understand they're deactivated, but I'd like to completely delete them to avoid virtual clutter. Thanks.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kerri! You’ve brought us a great question! I’m constantly trying to de-clutter, so I certainly understand where you’re coming from when it comes to de-cluttering your My Disney Experience account.

If you’re logging in to your My Disney Experience account on your computer, simply go to “My Account” and click on "MagicBands and Cards." There you will be able to see all of the MagicBands linked to your account as well as the cards linked to your account. Just click on the MagicBand or card you’re wanting to deactivate and set it to “inactive.”

While the MagicBand will still be listed on your account, you will be able to tell it’s no longer active because the color is muted, and it says “inactive” in the column next to it. You can also use these same steps to report a lost band.

Your MagicBand is such a multipurpose accessory. It opens your Disney Resort hotel room, holds your ticket information and you can make charges with it using a quick tap. Not to mention all the different colors and fun prints available for you to purchase on the Shop Disney Parks site. You can have one to celebrate every visit!

Kerri, I hope this information has been helpful to you. Come back to see us if you have any other questions. Helping you with the details of your magical visits to the Walt Disney World Resorts is something we always look forward to!
