Can you decrease the number of park days that come standard with a hotel/park ticket package? For example is it possible to book a 3 night 2 park day package?

    Bonjour, Brady!

Welcome to planDisney. I had the very same question when I booked our family's first visit to Disneyland Paris earlier this year. We planned on a 2-night stay at Disneyland Hotel, but worried we would be far too tired after overnight international travel to use that third day of park admission upon arrival.

Hotel + Ticket Packages will default to one extra day of tickets than nights of stay, but you may be able to book them a la carte by calling. I found there were no additional savings by booking resort accommodations and tickets separately, so I opted to go with the standard package. The package also came with more flexible cancellation options compared to third-party providers.

To my surprise, that first day of park access proved to be very helpful. Since we landed early in the morning and had several hours before our room was available, we took the opportunity to stroll through the parks, get our bearings for the following days, and shake off some of the jet lag. Once our room was ready, we popped in to unpack and refresh, then headed back out for some twilight exploring and a quick in-park meal before calling it a night. I'm really glad we took advantage of this time and it helped make the transition to a new time zone a bit easier.

On our checkout day, we used that final admission to enjoy a few last experiences in the parks, including a leisurely table-service meal. Disneyland Hotel held our bags until we were ready to depart, allowing us a relaxed morning before heading on to adventures elsewhere in Paris.

I'm not sure if you have a similar itinerary in mind but I hope my experience offers a new perspective on your plans. There is so much to see and do in both parks you'll want to take your time soaking up the details in each land and enjoy the many live entertainment offerings. We really loved Mickey and the Magician but wish we had time to see Together: A Pixar Musical Adventure, as well.

I hope this helped, Brady. Please come back and see us again with more planning questions.

    Magic and memories,
    Amy
