Nicole,Thanks for asking your question to planDisney! There are so many wonderful holiday decorations across Walt Disney World, in both the parks and the resorts. But few match the amazing feat of the gingerbread house that is built inside Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. They build a house big enough for cast members to go inside, selling smaller gingerbread houses to guests! While they never officially announce any dates, the decor always seems to go up during the very first few weeks of November. It does not go up all at once, but between the first and the 15th of the month you will see a transformation that is worthy of this grand resort. With your arrival of November 7th, I expect you will find most of the holiday items in place, though their tree seems to go up at the end of the decoration spree. I do also think you will be there as the house is being built. Frankly, that is the best time, as watching its progress day-by-day is really something to see. Depending on how long your visit will be, I would expect you will get to see its completion. BONUS TIP #1Make sure you review all the different Walt Disney World resort holiday plans for this year on their special site. BONUS TIP #2If you really want to enjoy some extra special Christmas magic this year, consider getting tickets to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. The first of these parties will be on November 8, so if you are still around, consider it for a special night out. I have already picked out my ugly Christmas sweater!
