When do they decorate for Christmas at WDW? We love Christmas, and we love Disney, so we thought it would be great to combine the two. However, we can only come during the week of Thanksgiving. Are the parks decorated then, or do they wait until after?

    Hi Melanie!

I'm right with you! Christmas decorations are beautiful, and combining those with WDW makes for a truly spectacular sight!

And, you're in luck! Disney World actually begins their holiday celebration early in November, so you should see a fully decorated World at Thanksgiving time! Also, you may want to consider attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at the Magic Kingdom. Not only are there special decorations and a holiday parade, it even snows on Main Street! Its a sight you don't want to miss!

If you have some extra time, don't hesitate to visit the Disney resorts as well. The Grand Floridian will be home to a life-size Gingerbread House. The Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom Lodges are both decorated with super-tall trees and over-the-top decorations!

    Hope this helps!
