Hey there, Tina! I'm so happy to welcome you to planDisney with this great question!
Both
Disney's Old Key West Resort and
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa are fantastic choices for an adult vacation to Walt Disney World Resort, each offering a relaxing atmosphere and unique charm that make them ideal for a more laid-back, grown-up vacation.
Old Key West features a tranquil, tropical vibe, with lush landscaping inspired by the Florida Keys. It's a wonderful retreat after a day in the parks, offering a peaceful escape with all the comforts of home.
Saratoga Springs, on the other hand, offers a serene, sophisticated setting with its charming Victorian architecture inspired by the historic New York retreat.
One of the best perks of both resorts is their convenient
water taxi transportation to
Disney Springs. This makes it incredibly easy to enjoy evenings filled with
shopping, live
entertainment, and a wide array of signature
dining options. Plus, with amenities like scenic walking trails, golf course access, and quiet pools, both resorts offer everything you need for a magical and rejuvenating getaway!
In my personal opinion, you really can't go wrong with either resort. The primary difference I've noticed between the two lies in the setup of the 2-bedroom villas. At Saratoga Springs, the living room features a queen-size pull-down bed, while Old Key West still offers a traditional queen-size sleeper sofa. If you're planning to use that additional sleeping space, I've found the pull-down bed at Saratoga Springs to be noticeably more comfortable based on my own experience. It's a small detail, but one that can make a big difference in getting a good night's rest!
