Hi! We just decided this week to come for our Spring Break, April 5-12. Very last minute! I was very happy to score Mickey's Backyard BBQ reservations this late. What is the best transportation to get there from Pop Century? Thanks!!

    Hey Jamie!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Mom Panel! It sounds to me like your fairy Godmother was waving her magic wand for you to be able to score Mickey's Backyard BBQ reservation this close to your trip.

Traveling between resorts at Walt Disney World can be a little tricky. Most resort-to-resort trips will require a bus transfer. When traveling to the Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort from Disney's Pop Century Resort I suggest taking a bus to Epcot then transferring to the next bus heading to Fort Wilderness. According to the Transportation Wizard on ourlaughingplace.com, this trip will take you approximately 40 minutes. However, I suggest allowing yourself at least 1 1/2 hours to make this trek. Factors such as wait times and bus crowding could be an issue as this is prime spring break time.

If you do happen to arrive a little early mosey on over to the Tri-Circle-D Ranch and take a stroll through the stable where Cinderella's horses are kept. It's well worth it.

I hope this helps your Disney planning. If you have any other questions please come back and see me.

Wishing you a magical vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
