We have decided to stay in a cabin at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, because we are a family of 7and wanted to stay within a budget and stay together. How does the transportation work there to get to and from the parks?

Hey Sandra.  I just stayed at the cabins for my very first time in April and I loved them!  As far as transportation, you have several options.  If you are driving or renting a car you can always use your car as it is parked right at your cabin.  I loved this.  To get to the MK you have two options, the ferry or the WDW bus system.  We enjoyed the ferry as it was just something fun and different.  And to get to the other parks you will use the WDW bus transportation system. I thought the bus system within the campgrounds was going to be confusing, but it wasn't - it was actually quite easy to manage!  When you check in you will be given a map and you will be able to identify the bus stop closes to your cabin.  None are too terribly far away!
Thanks for the great question and enjoy your stay at the cabins!
