We have decided to get married & then go to Epcot. I want to wear my (non-traditional) wedding dress: Pink, Knee-length, Tank-style, Sleeveless, Modest... I think it meets all of the clothing requirements? Please, help!

Hello there, Cali! Welcome to the wonderful world of planDisney! Thank you for taking the time to stop by and allowing us to help you plan your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort!

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Personally, I believe that a visit to Walt Disney World Resort is the perfect way to celebrate any occasion but I have a particular soft spot for weddings and honeymoons. My husband and I also celebrated this way after our Halloween wedding years ago!

There shouldn’t be any issues with wearing your wedding dress to the theme parks as long as it is within the dress code! From the sound of it, your dress should not count as inappropriate attire. In fact, many Guests will wear their wedding outfits into the parks so they may take pictures with their favorite Disney landmarks to celebrate their union! The only suggestion I might make would be to bring along a light jacket in case you get chilly and wear comfortable shoes. Epcot is known for the World Showcase and can involve quite a bit of walking as a result!

Since it sounds like you will also have your honeymoon at Walt Disney World Resort, you may want to consider creating a Disney Honeymoon Registry! This is a great way to have friends and families contribute to your magical getaway in a very meaningful way! Guests can add a variety of options to their customizable registry that can range from theme park tickets all the way to Private VIP Tours. The choice is entirely up to you and your spouse!

It may be helpful to look through the Enchanting Extras Collection as you think of these magical add-ons for your vacation! This collection consists of a variety of special events and offerings that will provide a pinch of pixie dust to your once-in-a-lifetime honeymoon visit!

Best of luck as you continue to plan your celebratory visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Be sure to let us know if we can assist with planning any other portion of your stay!
