We have just decided to go to Disney the first week of December!! I am so excited I could scream!! I have a few questions...will it be warm enough to swim? Do I need to bring a book bag to carry? What should we bring?

You are going to love visiting the "Happiest Place on Earth" during the holidays, Deanna!  There's nothing better than seeing all of the parks and resorts decorated for the holiday season! I am happy to tell you that the pools at the Walt Disney World Resorts are heated year round. I have visited in early December the past two years and found the temperatures to be quite warm. The average high temperature for Orlando in December is typically in the low 70s while the average low temperature is usually in the low 50s.

My husband likes to bring a backpack into the parks with any essentials that may be needed throughout the day. We usually pack snacks, sunscreen, ponchos, camera, portable cell phone charger, sunglasses, any medications, and autograph books. While my husband always carries a backpack, I personally like to bring my small crossover bag into the park. I hope this information helps! Please feel free to write me back with any additional questions that you may have. Best wishes for a magical and merry trip, Deanna!
    Happy Planning,
