We just decided to take our first trip to Disney for a week in February, so not a whole lot of time to plan. Our girls are 17 & 25, huge fans of Beauty and the Beast. Is it worth the cost to attend the dinner or will they be just as happy going for lun

    Hi Sven,

There are a number of experiences that feature Beauty and the Beast. Let me explain them to you.

    - Belle usually appears at the princess meals in Cinderella Castle in the Magic Kingdom. The level of character interaction is the same at breakfast, lunch and dinner. So if price is a factor, then go with breakfast here.

    - Belle also usually appears at the princess meals at the Akershus in the Norway pavilion at Epcot. Similarly, the level of character interaction is the same at breakfast, lunch and dinner. So if price is a factor, then go with breakfast here as well.

    - The Be Our Guest restaurant serves quick service food at lunch and table service food at dinner. Yes, the food at dinner is more substantial and presented in a more refined way, but it's in the same rooms as the lunch sittings, so if you just want to see the inside of the building, go for lunch. The Beast usually greets guests at BOG at dinner, but not a lunch.

But you don't need to eat to see the Beauty and the Beast characters ...

    - Belle herself appears in the Enchanted Tales with Belle attraction at the Magic Kingdom. This experience is included with your regular park admission, so no additional fee is needed.

    - Belle greets guests near the France pavilion at Epcot, often with the Beast as well. This experience is included with your regular park admission, so no additional fee is needed.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
