Hi Catherine! It is nice to have you back at the Moms Panel with another question.
As Walt Disney World Resort gears up for reopening, we've been seeing announcements about what
Returning to a World of Magic may look like for the foreseeable future. Just recently an
update on Disney Resort Hotels was posted on the Disney Parks Blog. We have seen updated cancellation policies for resort stays and vacation packages, and date-based theme park tickets have been extended for use any dates through September 26, 2021.
As you can imagine, there are many aspects of the Walt Disney World Parks and Resorts experience that need to be addressed for our ever-changing current world situation. At this time, we have not yet received any information about refunds for
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets or for
Memory Maker purchases. As information is frequently evolving and being updated, keep your eye on the
Disney Parks Blog and the
operational updates page. In the meantime, you may wish to
contact the Existing Tickets helpline at (407) 566-4985 to see what your options may be.
One thing to know about your Memory Maker purchase is that it is not tied to a specific trip, and an unactivated Memory Maker can remain linked to your
My Disney Experience account indefinitely. (I actually have one that has been sitting in my account for years!) If you think you may reschedule your vacation sometime down the road, you would be able to utilize your Memory Maker photo download package then.
Please feel free to check back with us again as more information about reopening procedures and policies becomes available.
