If I decide to make an all adult trip when is the best time for a group of single women to explore Disney

Hey there, Toni! Thanks so much for visiting planDisney again. We love to see Guests like you return to ask us planning questions!

I am a wife and a mom of three who lives within two hours of Disneyland Resort, so we have the luxury of visiting quite frequently. I love being able to experience Disneyland with my family and seeing all the joy the magic of the parks brings to my kids. I can also say that I absolutely LOVE spending time in the parks on adults-only trips. A few years ago, I spent my birthday in the parks with my best friend and it was the best time. This past year I've had monthly Disney day-dates with one of my panel sisters and it's just been so much fun!

I honestly have a hard time recommending the best time to visit Disneyland Resort because there's just always something fun going on that makes it a great time. I love Halloween and the holiday season in the parks, but that can be a busy time to get away. I would say to look into the Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival. This usually happens during March and April in Disney California Adventure Park. The pathways are lined with themed marketplaces that offer so many sweet and savory bites, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks as well. There will be lots of entertainment and fun to enjoy as well. In the past few years, they have also brought back Soarin' Over California, which I absolutely love! I recommend keeping your eyes on the Disney Parks Blog to see if they announce the festival's return for 2023. I sure hope they do!

My favorite adult places to grab advanced dining reservations would be Blue Bayou in Disneyland Park and Lamplight Lounge in Disney California Adventure. I also really enjoy the GCH Craftsman Grill located at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, which you do not have to stay there to be able to enjoy. Also, don't count out a character dining experience! Earlier this year I visited Goofy's Kitchen with a group of my planDisney panel friends (all adults!) and we had the best time there for breakfast. The buffet was great and we loved dancing in our seats with Goofy and friends.

Toni, I hope this helps give you some ideas for an adults-only trip to Disneyland Resort. There's really no bad time!

Meet the Panelist: Carrie, California

Well hello friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mama and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. We love that we are close enough to Disneyland Resort to make a last-minute trip to see the Mouse quite frequently. You'll find us in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can fit in! I love helping my friends plan memorable trips to Disneyland Resort and can't wait to help you too! Learn More About Carrie
