On December 13, 2018, my family and I will be attending MVMCP! Should we take time away from party to have dinner at Be Our Guest (have reservations for 8:30 p.m.) or would we miss just too much fun?

    Hi Canitha,

Ooh...that's a tough call to make. Be Our Guest Restaurant is a super popular restaurant and it can definitely be tough to find a reservation, so if you were pixie dusted enough to get one, you might want to consider keeping it. It's an amazing dining experience for sure, however, my general feeling about a special ticketed event like Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is to soak up every bit of Christmas magic and fun that you can while you're able to be at the party and not spend your evening doing things that are available at other times.

Special character greeting opportunities, unique and festive entertainment, a magical fireworks show, snow on Main Street U.S.A., complimentary snacks, low wait times on attractions, and my very favorite part of the whole evening, Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, are only available from 7:00 p.m. - midnight, so I'd hate to have you miss out on something during your dinner that you won't be able to experience on another day.

However, if you have some huge Beauty and the Beast fans in your family or are really looking forward to your dinner, you can certainly keep your plans as they are! How about we wish on a star that another dining reservation will open up on another day so that you can do both!? Cancellations do happen, so be sure to keep your eye out for another date and time! For now, though, just know that whichever route you choose to go, it's sure to be a magical one!

Thanks for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Canitha, and have an AMAZING vacation!
