For our December cruise we have a full day excursion planned on Saturday and I am wondering if we will make it back in time for the main dinner seating. We have a birthday surprise planned for that dinner and I want to make sure we won't miss it.

    Ahoy, Rebekah!
It is wonderful that you cruised by to "sea" us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! After a little research, I believe we are on the same cruise in December! I'm sure you are as excited as I am to see the Disney Dream decked out in all its festive decor for our Very Merrytime Cruise! It also sounds like you will be celebrating a magical birthday at sea which means double the pixie dust for someone in your seafaring crew.
I looked at my cruise reservation, and it appears we will be in port from 9:30 a.m. until 5:15 p.m. on Saturday. If you plan on being ashore for an all day adventure, you should make it back with time to spare since main seating isn't until 5:45 p.m. If you look at the information for the Port Adventure you selected, you will see a time range for your outing. This will give you a better idea on your arrival time back to the pier, so you can plan accordingly. You definitely don't want to miss out on your special birthday surprise at dinner!
Rebekah, please let me know if you need further assistance with this question or any others you may have about your enchanted journey aboard the Disney Dream! It won't be long now!
    Have a magical day!
