Hi Beth!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Mom Panel! Thank you so much for bringing us your questions.
I should start by saying, two of my favorite things to do at Walt Disney World are
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and the
Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party. Combining the two is double the fun!
We find the expense of both the party ticket and the dessert party to be well worth it. My family really enjoys getting to the Magic Kingdom at 4:00 p.m. on party days and having an early dinner. Nothing says holiday meal like the
Liberty Tree Tavern with its traditional fare. By the time dinner is done the day crowds are leaving and the party Guests are trickling in. During this time, you will find very short wait times on most attractions. One hour prior to Wishes we like to go into the party and relax while the crowds gather in front of Cinderella Castle. The party not only offers a hassle free view, you will also enjoy some of the most amazing dessert and treats. (
I recommend searching "Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party" on Google and viewing the images of the event. You will see the wide variety of desserts available.) When the festivities begin you will have a front row view of both Celebrate the Magic castle projection show and Wishes without fighting the crowd.
I hope this helps with your planning. If you have any other questions please come back and see me. We love helping all Guests plan their Disney adventure.
Wishing you a magical vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
