    Is debit Mastercard accepted at the Disney world parks?

    Hi Chris!

    Welcome to planDisney! You'll be happy to know that the Walt Disney World Resort accepts cash, Mastercard, and/or Visa credit and debit cards for transactions within the Theme Parks and Resorts. If you are a Guest staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you can link your debit/credit card to your room charge account. You can then charge your purchases to your room key or your Magicband. This eliminates the need to carry additional cards within the parks and you can keep a running tab on the purchases your family makes during your vacation. 

    The preferred credit card on property is the Disney Visa by Chase. The Disney Visa Card offers you several perks, such as saving on shopping at the Disney Store online, in-store, or at the parks and resorts.  Cardholders can also save up to 10% off dining experiences at certain Walt Disney World Resort restaurants. Disney Visa Cardholders can also earn Disney Rewards, which can then be utilized on anything within the Disney Parks and Resorts or Disney Store.
